Can I use my own images as input?
Image-to-Video
Yes. You can upload your own image and use it as the starting frame for a generated video. Go to Create → Videos, click Upload Image, and then write a prompt describing how you want the image to animate.
The AI uses your image as the visual foundation and generates motion, camera movement, and environmental effects on top of it. This is perfect for bringing static artwork, photos, or character portraits to life.
Accepted image formats for input:
- JPEG / JPG
- PNG (transparency is flattened to a solid background)
- WebP
Maximum image size is 10 MB. Recommended resolution is at least 1024x1024 for best results. Lower resolution images will be upscaled automatically but may appear softer.
Tips for Best Results
- High-resolution, well-lit images produce the best animations
- Simple compositions (one subject, clean background) animate more cleanly than busy scenes
- Describe the motion you want in the prompt — do not just describe the image itself. For example:
camera slowly zooms in, leaves rustling in the wind, soft ambient light
- Character portraits work exceptionally well, especially for AvatarFX-style animations
- Avoid text-heavy images — the AI may distort or blur text during animation
Image-to-video is available on all plans and counts as 1 credit per generation.
