What are credit top-ups?
Overview
Credit top-ups are one-time credit packs you can purchase whenever you need more credits outside of your regular subscription allowance. They are ideal for heavy usage periods or if you are on the free plan and want credits without committing to a monthly subscription.

Higher-tier packs include bonus credits automatically. No coupon or promo code is needed — the bonus is applied at checkout.
How to Purchase
You can buy a top-up from two places:
- Settings → Billing → Buy Credits — available at any time
- Low credit prompt — when your credit balance drops below a threshold during a conversation, a prompt appears offering to top up without leaving the chat
Payment methods are the same as your subscription — credit card, debit card, or any payment method saved in your account.
Key Details
- Credits never expire. Purchased top-up credits remain in your account indefinitely until used.
- They stack with subscription credits. If you are on Plus or Pro, your monthly credits and top-up credits combine into a single balance.
- No auto-renewal. Top-ups are a one-time purchase. You will not be charged again unless you buy another pack.
- Shared balance. Top-up credits work across all features — text chat, voice calls, and API usage draw from the same pool.
Checking Your Balance
Your current credit balance is always visible in the top navigation bar. For a detailed breakdown of subscription credits vs. purchased credits, go to Settings → Billing → Credit History.
Tip The $25 Premium pack offers the best value per credit. If you regularly run low, consider upgrading your subscription plan instead — monthly plans include more credits at a lower effective rate.
