Can I use my character on Discord/Telegram/Slack?
Dyva characters can be deployed to external platforms as bots:
- Discord — responds in channels and DMs
- Telegram — works as a standard Telegram bot
- Slack — integrates into workspaces as a Slack app
Requires Pro ($30/mo) or Creator ($50/mo) plan.
Setup
1. Go to Character Settings → Integrations
2. Select the platform you want to connect
3. Follow the platform-specific setup (Discord bot token, Telegram BotFather token, or Slack workspace OAuth)
4. Configure which channels or conversations the character should respond in
5. Save and activate
Discord-Specific Notes
- Create a bot at the Discord Developer Portal
- Grant the bot
Send Messages, Read Message History, and Use Slash Commands permissions
- The character responds to mentions and configured triggers
Telegram-Specific Notes
- Create a bot via BotFather and paste the token into Dyva
- Works in both private chats and group conversations
Limitations
- Voice is not available through integrations — text only
- Knowledge base queries work but may add slight latency
- Rate limits apply per platform: 60 messages per minute per channel
Each integration counts as a separate conversation context. Memory is shared across all platforms for the same user, matched by platform user ID.
