Can I post in a Group?
Creating Posts
Open the group and tap the New Post button at the top of the feed. Posts support:
- Text with full markdown formatting
- Images — upload up to 4 images per post (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, max 5 MB each)
- Links — URLs auto-generate a rich preview card
- Polls — add a question with 2-6 options and a voting deadline
Interacting with Posts
- React — click the emoji bar below any post
- Comment — threaded replies, also supporting markdown and images
- Share — repost to your profile feed or copy a direct link
- Pin — owners and moderators can pin up to 3 posts to the top
Posting Permissions
Group owners control who can post. Options include:
- All members can post freely
- New members must wait a set period (1-7 days) before posting
- Only moderators and above can create new posts (members can still comment)
If your posts keep getting removed, check the group's rules. Repeated violations may result in a temporary mute or removal.
