How do I join a Group?
Finding Groups
Browse groups from the Groups page or the Explore page. Filter by category, member count, or activity level. Use the search bar to find groups by name or topic.
Joining
- Public groups — click Join and you are in immediately
- Private groups — click Request Access and wait for the owner or a moderator to approve
- Invite-only groups — you need a direct invite link from an existing member
You will get a notification when a private group request is accepted.
After Joining
New members can immediately see the group feed and member list. Posting permissions depend on the group's settings — some groups require you to be a member for a set period before posting.
You can join up to 50 groups simultaneously. If you hit the limit, leave a group you are no longer active in to make room.
