Creating Your Group
Head to the Groups tab and click Create Group. Fill in the basics:
- Name: keep it short and descriptive (3-50 characters)
- Description: explain what the group is about
- Visibility: public, private, or invite-only
- Category: pick a topic tag so people can find you
You automatically become the Owner with full moderation controls.
Customizing Your Group
After creation, go to Group Settings to add:
- A banner image and icon
- Custom rules displayed to new members
- A pinned welcome post
- Default posting permissions for new members
Inviting Members
Share the group link directly, or use Group Settings → Invite to generate a shareable invite link with an optional expiration date. You can also invite specific users by searching their username.
