There are several ways to start a direct message on Dyva:
From a profile — visit any user's profile and click the Message button
From the compose button — click the pen icon in the top-right of the Messages page, then search for a username
From groups or rooms — click on any user's name in a group or room and select Message
Compose Options
Once in a conversation, you can send text messages, share images (Plus plan and above), and react to messages. The message input supports basic formatting — bold with asterisks and *italic* with single asterisks. Type your message and press Enter to send, or Shift+Enter for a new line.
Tips
Messages are delivered instantly and sync across all your devices
Use the search bar in the Messages page to find existing conversations quickly
Pin important conversations by right-clicking a thread and selecting Pin
If the person has strict privacy settings, your message may land in their Requests tab instead of their inbox
