How do I exercise my privacy rights?
Your Rights
Dyva supports privacy rights under GDPR (EU/EEA), CCPA (California), and equivalent regulations worldwide. You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Export — download your data in a portable format (JSON)
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate personal information
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Restriction — limit how we process your data
- Objection — opt out of specific data processing activities
Self-Service Options
Most rights can be exercised directly from Settings → Privacy:
- Export Data — generates a JSON file with your full account data, conversations, and memories
- Delete All Conversations — removes all chat history immediately
- Delete Account — initiates a 30-day deletion process for your entire account
- AI Improvement Data — toggle anonymized analytics on or off
For requests that cannot be handled through self-service (e.g., data correction, processing restrictions), contact the privacy team. We respond to all privacy requests within 30 days as required by GDPR.
You do not need to be in the EU to exercise these rights. We extend the same privacy controls to all users regardless of location.
