Is Dyva safe for minors?
Age Requirements
Dyva requires users to be 13 years or older to create an account. In the European Economic Area (EEA), the minimum age is 16 in compliance with GDPR Article 8. We are fully COPPA compliant for users in the United States.
Safety Protections for Minors
Users under 18 are subject to additional protections:
- No access to mature content — characters and scenes rated Mature are hidden entirely
- Restricted marketplace — only General and Teen-rated characters are visible
- Enhanced moderation — conversations involving minors are subject to stricter automated safety filters
- No voice cloning — users under 18 cannot upload voice samples
Parental Controls
Parents or guardians who want to manage their child's account can contact the privacy team to:
- Request access to their child's account data
- Set additional content restrictions
- Request account deletion
Reporting Concerns
If you encounter a user you believe is under the minimum age, or if you see content that puts minors at risk, report it immediately. CSAM and child exploitation reports are escalated to NCMEC and law enforcement.
We take minor safety extremely seriously. Violations related to child safety result in immediate, permanent account termination.
