Does voice work in group rooms?
Current Status
Voice is currently one-on-one only — a private voice conversation between you and a single character. There is no multi-user voice room or group voice chat at this time.
What This Means
- You can have a voice conversation with any character on a paid plan
- Other users cannot join or listen to your voice session
- Each voice session is private to your conversation
What's Coming
Multi-user voice rooms are in active development. The planned feature will allow:
- Multiple users in the same voice session with a character
- The character responding to different speakers individually
- Moderation controls for room hosts
No release date has been announced. Follow the Dyva blog or check Explore for feature announcements.
In the meantime, if you want multiple people to interact with the same character, each person can start their own independent text or voice conversation. The character maintains separate memory and context for each user.
