How do I set up my creator profile?
Your creator profile is your public-facing page on Dyva. It is where other users discover you and your characters. Anyone can visit it at dyva.ai/u/your-username, and it serves as your storefront if you publish characters to the marketplace.
Setting Up Your Profile
- Go to Settings and select the Creator tab
- Add a bio — a short description of who you are and what kind of characters you create
- Upload a banner image — this appears at the top of your profile page
- Add social links — connect your Twitter, Instagram, Discord, or other profiles
All fields are optional, but a filled-out profile builds trust with users browsing the marketplace.
Creator Dashboard
Once your profile is set up, the creator dashboard becomes your command center. From there you can:
- View all your published and draft characters
- Track conversation counts and engagement metrics
- Monitor earnings from premium characters and tips
- Manage character visibility and marketplace settings
Access the dashboard from the sidebar or by going to your profile page.
Verification Badge
Active creators who have published characters to the marketplace are eligible for a blue verification badge. This badge appears next to your name across the platform and signals to other users that you are an established creator.
Verification is based on your publishing activity — there is no manual application process.
What Requires a Creator Profile
A few features are gated behind having a creator profile set up:
- Publishing characters to the public marketplace
- Receiving tips from users who enjoy your characters
- Earning revenue share from premium character interactions
You do not need a creator profile to build characters for personal use. It only becomes necessary when you want to share your work publicly and participate in the creator economy.
Note Your creator profile is separate from your regular account profile. You can have a playful display name for chatting and a professional bio on your creator page — they do not need to match.
