What happens to my data if I go inactive?
Your Data Is Safe
Nothing happens. Dyva does not purge inactive accounts or expire stored data, regardless of how long you are away. Your account, characters, conversations, memories, uploaded files, and settings all remain exactly as you left them.
There is no inactivity timer, no warning emails about upcoming deletion, and no data degradation over time. You can come back after a day, a month, or a year, and everything will be where you left it.
Active Subscriptions
If you have a paid plan, billing continues even if you stop using the platform. Your subscription does not automatically pause or cancel due to inactivity. To stop charges:
- Go to Settings and select the Billing tab
- Click Cancel to end your subscription
- Your paid features remain active through the end of your current billing period
- After that, your account drops to the Free plan
Characters and Marketplace Listings
Published characters stay live on the marketplace regardless of your activity level. They continue to be discoverable and usable by other users. Revenue from premium characters still accrues to your account.
If you want to take characters offline, unpublish them manually from Studio → Manage before going inactive.
Tip If you are going away for a while but want to keep your subscription, there is no need to take any action. Everything stays intact. If you want to save money, cancel and re-subscribe when you return — your data will still be there.
