How do I delete a character?

How to Delete

1. Go to Character Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Character
2. Type the character's name to confirm
3. Click Delete Permanently

What Gets Deleted

Deleting a character permanently removes:

• The character profile, personality instructions, and avatar
• All conversations every user has had with this character
• All memories the character has stored for every user
• All knowledge base documents attached to the character
• Marketplace listing and reviews (if published)
• Integration connections (Discord, Telegram, Slack)

What You Should Know

• This is permanent. There is no undo, no recovery period, no backup restore
• If the character was published, users who had conversations with it lose access immediately
• Revenue earned from a deleted character is still paid out: deletion does not affect past earnings

Exporting Data

If you want to save your character's configuration before deleting, go to Character Settings → Export. This downloads a JSON file with the personality prompt, settings, and metadata (not conversation history).
