Revenue Share Model
Dyva operates a 70/30 revenue split: you keep 70% of all revenue your published characters generate. This applies to every paid interaction: text conversations, voice sessions, and API calls against your premium characters.
Setting Up Payouts
Before you can earn, you need to connect a payout account:
- Go to Settings → Creator → Payout Settings
- Click Connect with Stripe to set up a Stripe Connect account
- Complete Stripe's identity verification and add your bank details
- Once verified, your account is ready to receive payouts
This is a one-time setup that takes a few minutes. Stripe handles all payment processing and compliance.
Setting Your Price
Each character has a configurable message credit cost that determines how many credits users spend per interaction. Set this in Character Settings → Pricing. Higher-quality, deeply developed characters can command a higher credit cost. Free characters earn no revenue but attract more users: balance visibility with monetization based on your goals.
Tracking Earnings
Your Studio → Analytics dashboard shows real-time earnings data:
- Per-character revenue: see which characters earn the most
- Conversation count and engagement: understand usage patterns
- Monthly revenue trends: track growth over time
- Projected payout: an estimate of your next monthly payout based on current earnings
Payout Schedule
- Frequency: Monthly, processed on the 1st of each month for the previous month's earnings
- Minimum threshold: $25 in unpaid earnings required to trigger a payout
- Delivery: Direct deposit via Stripe Connect, typically arrives within 2-7 business days
- Below threshold: If your balance is under $25, it rolls over to the next month. Accumulated earnings never expire.
Requirements
You must be on the Creator plan ($50/mo) to publish premium characters and receive payouts. Free and Plus plans can publish free characters but cannot earn revenue.
