From their profile — visit the user's profile page and click Block in the ... menu
From a conversation — in any DM or group interaction, click their username and select Block
Blocking takes effect immediately.
What Blocking Does
When you block a user:
They cannot send you messages or message requests
They cannot see your profile, published characters, or activity
They cannot interact with you in groups or rooms
Existing DM threads with them are hidden from your inbox
They are not notified that you blocked them
Managing Blocked Users
View and manage your block list at Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users. You can unblock anyone at any time — this restores their ability to see your profile and send messages, but does not restore previously deleted conversation history.
Blocking vs. Reporting
Blocking stops the person from contacting you, but it does not alert our moderation team. If the user engaged in harassment, threats, or other policy violations, report them in addition to blocking so we can take platform-wide action.
If someone is creating new accounts to circumvent your block, report this to the safety team — ban evasion is a serious violation.
