How do I delete my account?
Starting the Deletion
Go to Settings, select the Privacy tab, and click Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm by typing your username. This is irreversible once the grace period ends.
The 30-Day Grace Period
After you confirm deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:
- Your profile is hidden from other users
- Your published characters are removed from the marketplace
- You can still sign in and cancel the deletion if you change your mind
After 30 days, the deletion becomes permanent. Everything is erased — conversations, characters, memories, uploaded files, and account data.
Before You Delete
Consider these steps first:
- Export your data — go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data to download a copy of everything
- Cancel your subscription — if you have an active paid plan, cancel it first to avoid being charged during the grace period
- Withdraw earnings — if you are a Creator with unpaid revenue, request a payout before deleting
Warning Deletion is permanent. After the 30-day grace period, there is no way to recover your account, characters, or conversation history.
